Flames engulf my mind,  
Just as it engulfed the leaf.  
Salty crystallized tears fall,  
From distant staring eyes.   
Staring into the clouds,  
Blurred by a river of tears,  
Daydreaming and wishing,  
To be somewhere else.  
 
I watch silently.  
Wishing I could help.

Growing upHere's one thing i never got...  People say they don't want to grow up or get old.  Yet when were younger all we want is to be older.  So why can't we be the same now?  I can't wait to be fifty or sixty or whenever it is i become a grandpa,  so i can spoil my grand kids.  I can't wait till all I can do is lay in bed because my legs are weak  cause thats what I do now!  
I can't wait till the highlight of my day  is a conversation I had with a friend that isn't dead.  I can't wait to say i lived a great life.  I can't wait until i no longer worry about anything except my health.  And Growing up
